Meet Yan, a pole enthusiast who enters her first competition this year
Meet Pole in Style's customer and pole friend, Yan, who is competing in the Norwegian Pole Sport Championship for the first time this year.
1. What made you started pole dancing? In the beginning, it was just for fun. But then I thought it was something new and exciting. And it was really challenging.
2. What do your family and friends think about you're doing pole dancing? They think it is quite cool. Many of my friends started pole dancing because of me, and I am so happy to see that.
3. What is your favorite trick? Jade, allegra, titanic. There are so many more.
5. What are your pole goals for this year? To be a professional: competing in my first competition and to teach others, spreading the love of pole.
6. How has pole dance changed you as a person? I have learned that I can always go beyond my limits. It's hard, but I feel so good after I manage something, and my instructors who teach me and spot me are always so nice and encouraging. I am so inspired. If there is a sport I think I will do for my whole life, it is definitely pole dancing. I've become a much stronger, more confident and positive person than I was before.
