Backbend Prep Challenge
Are you working on backbending? Do you want to find ways to improve your backbend?
The term "backbend" could be misleading since many people think they need a flexible back to go deeper into a backbend. We focus too much on our backs and forget other factors: front stretching. In fact, backbending is really front stretching in which you open up your shoulders, chest and hip flexors.
Pretty much muscles in the front of your body stretch and muscles in back contract in your backbend. To go into a deeper backbend, you need both strength and flexibility.
