No plan this summer? Check out these pole camps
Have you not made any plans for this summer yet? How about attending a pole camp? Whether you are participating alone or with a pole buddy, it is a worthwhile experience – you’ll get to make new friends, learn new tricks and combos and travel to a new place.
Before you make your decision, there are a few things you should consider:
Packages and prices
What is included in the price? How many classes do you have per day? What are the activities outside of class? Do you get access to the studio for your own training? Some pole camps offer in their packages both hotel and meals, whereas some do not. The cost of attending a pole camp could end up being very high so you should consider prices of different camps and plan your budget accordingly.
Instructors
Who will be teaching at the camp? What are their teaching styles? Are they good at explaining their tricks and combos? Do they offer variation to make it suitable for different levels? Sometimes the most amazing pole dancers are not necessarily the best instructors. Ask your friends whether they have attended any workshops with those instructors and what they think about them.
Workshops
What kind of classes will be taught there? Which levels are they for? Research carefully because this could MAKE or BREAK your experience. Ask previous participants about their opinions of the pole camp. You could also contact the organizer if you are unclear about the classes and the minimum level required to attend.
