Three tips to create your own pole fitness retreat at home
Are you unable to travel away for a pole fitness retreat? Why not grabbing some friends and creating your own pole retreat at home? A good thing about this homemade retreat is that you can have it whenever and wherever you want. Here are some tips on how to organize your own pole retreat at home:
1. Plan your schedule
Clear all your commitments for the weekend so you can dedicate your time to training. Book your classes and try to combine different training types in your schedule – strength, condition, stretching and floorwork. Does your studio not offer many classes in the weekend? Look beyond your pole classes and test other workout types.
2. Give yourself a treat
Plan healthy meals and snacks, create a home spa like a facial mask and a warm bath, and get a good night sleep.
3.Get offline
Turn off your phone and computer and log off social media. Instead, read a book, meditate or enjoy a long walk. Use this time to reconnect with yourself as well as the nature and people surrounding you.
